Behind the Bones: Welcome to the Workshop
If you’ve landed on this page, you likely already know that we don’t mass-produce anything here.
Every armature that leaves the studio is hand-machined, bench-calibrated, and silver-brazed. Every bespoke puppet begins life as a digital sculpt before turning into physical silicone, steel, and fabric. It’s a meticulous, sometimes frustrating, but entirely rewarding process.
We built this workshop space because a polished final product only tells half the story. The real magic—and the occasionally painful engineering trials—happens right here on the bench.
What You’ll See Here
This blog isn't for corporate updates or SEO keyword stuffing. It’s a visual log of what’s currently occupying our headspace. Moving forward, we’ll be sharing:
-
Raw Process Renders: A look into our digital pipeline, from AI-assisted character turnarounds to high-resolution ZBrush sculpts.
-
Mold Making & Castings: The satisfying (and messy) reality of silicone injection, pour-and-clamp setups, and pristine puppet pulls.
-
Mechanical Breakthroughs: Insights into how we're evolving our joint architecture—including an inside look at the upcoming Modus V5 upgrade integration.
Current Status: On the Bench
Right now, the workshop radio is competing with the hum of the 3D printers. The digital design house side of the studio has been working overtime, and we’ve just cracked open the molds for a full-body lizard puppet setup, with hand molds and footwear up next on the tools.
We’re also actively prepping the digital infrastructure for the grand opening of our new storefront, aligning our physical builds with a seamless, bespoke ordering experience for studios and collectors alike.
Thanks for stepping into the workshop. Grab a tea, look around, and watch this space. The next generation of stop-motion hardware is currently on the slab.
